Lauren resides part-time in Italy, where she plays for Igor Gorgonzola Novara, one of Italy’s most famous teams.

Lauren Carlini from University of Wisconsin is the new setter of Igor Gorgonzola Novara.
Novara is a globally recognized team, and the fact that they scouted Lauren among thousands of young promises is a powerful testament to her ability.
She currently plays as a setter for the aforementioned Italian team, filling in the role previously held by world class Dutch players Laura Dijksma, as well as Katarzyna Skorupa.
The young Carlini is already being regarded as one of the best players in her entire generation, and she is just at the start of a fantastic journey.
“Playing in Italy is a dream come true for me, and I feel lucky to be able to continue living this dream,” Carlini commented on her success.
The 23-year-old athlete is a true inspiration for young people, as she initially made headlines when she joined the national team.

Carlini performs with the Women’s Volleyball Team in the United States where she participated in this years and last year's FIVB Volleyball Women’s Nations League.
The Path to the Podium continues with members of the U.S. Women's National Team, including Carli Lloyd and Lauren Carlini, sharing their introduction to volleyball, best memories and dreams.
On the occasion of the Grand Champions Cup in Japan, Carlini managed to score a bronze medal, bringing home her first major trophy.
