โ€ข Ranked fifth on the team with 178 kills and a 1.48 kills-per-set average
โ€ข Totaled 31 digs and 70 total blocks
โ€ข Registered new season/career-highs with 15 kills vs. BYU (9/14) and 11 total blocks at Hawaii (9/3)
โ€ข Tabbed Pac-12 Freshman of the Week on Sept. 4 following her 10 kills and 11 blocks double-double performance

โ€ข Broke two program records in a week having 22 kills in a three-set win over USC and 30 kills in a four-set win against Colorado
โ€ข Named Pac-12 Player of the Week after the USC and Colorado performance
โ€ข Became the second player in program history during the rally-scoring era to have at least 500 kills in a season
โ€ข Finished second on the team with 332 digs
โ€ข Led the team in kills with 14 of the 20 Pac-12 matches
โ€ข Had 24 kills and 20 digs against Saint Maryโ€™s becoming the third player in program history to have a 20-20 match
โ€ข Named to the Utah Classic and Villanova Volleyball Invitational All-Tournament Teams

AS A JUNIOR (2019) 

โ€ข Became second player in program history to be named an AVCA First Team All-American
โ€ข Named AVCA Pacific South Region Player of the Year
โ€ข Earned All-Pac-12 Team honors
โ€ข Set a single-season record and became the first player in program history to eclipse the 600-kill mark finishing with 643 for the season
โ€ข The 643 kills were the second most in the NCAA during the 2019 season
โ€ข Had 15 matches with at least 20 kills and two matches with 30-plus kills including setting a program record with 33 against USC while hitting .348 in the match
โ€ข Also had 31 kills against Washington State
โ€ข Had 10 matches in Pac-12 play with at least 20 kills
โ€ข Also led the team with 34 aces
โ€ข Never coming off the floor, Drews finished the year with 278 digs and 72.0 blocks 
โ€ข Matched a Utah NCAA tournament record in kills against Illinois with 27 kills

Ute outside hitter Dani Drews was lights out, racking up a career-high 30 kills, hitting .367 and managing 18 digs to lead Utah to victory on Friday afternoon.

  • Became Utahโ€™s all-time kill leader against USC to pass former teammate Adora Anaeโ€™s record of 1,920 career kills

โ€ข Was named the AVCA Pacific South Region Player of the Year for the third-straight season and is the only Ute to win the award multiple times
โ€ข Earned her fourth consecutive AVCA All-American honor
โ€ข Named All-Pac-12 selection for fourth year in a row
โ€ข Finished fourth in the nation with 5.19 kills per set and first in the Pac-12
โ€ข Averaged a league-best 5.45 kills per set during Pac-12 play
โ€ข Posted 581 kills in her final year, which ranks third all-time in a single season
โ€ข Recorded a career-best .276 hitting percentage
โ€ข Posted 12 matches of 20-plus kills
โ€ข Totaled a team-high 12 double-doubles

โ€ข Two 30-kill matches against Arizona State (31) and Stanford (30)
โ€ข Eight matches with over 20 kills
โ€ข Hit .263 on the season with 820 attempts
โ€ข Hit over .300 in eight matches
โ€ข The 30 kills against Stanford was the second time in her career sheโ€™s had 30 kills in a four-set match
