Best Personal Volleyball Trainers, Coach April Preps Powerful Players

As one of the best personal volleyball trainers in Vegas Coach April produces powerful players so is her college-prep style of volleyball training right for you?

As one of the best personal volleyball trainers in Vegas lets make sure that my style of college volleyball prep training is the right fit for you.

It may not be, because my training, purposefully, isn't made for everyone.

I work with players who are:

  1. Serious about playing college volleyball
  2. Willing to put in the work to elevate their game
  3. Open to constructive feedback and continuous improvement

Okay now it's time to be completely and utterly blunt and honest with you.

As one of the best personal volleyball trainers in Vegas I know exactly who I want to work with and why.

Its very important for serious goal-oriented athletes to know who they want to work with and why. That's why I've done an enormous amount of goal-setting and journaling all through my career so I could hold myself to high standards first as a professional volleyball player and as a top Vegas volleyball coach in order to hold myself accountable.

They say who you surround yourself with, tells alot about you...

I don't train players who don't have serious volleyball goals.

I'm definitely not a good fit if a player is

  • trying to keep up with the Joneses
  • trying out for a team because a friend is
  • does not have the goal of using volleyball as a part of their continuing education (college), or making the varsity, JV or B team
  • they're just curious about the sport and just trying to see what its like
  • you're looking for a professional babysitter to fill your daughter/son's schedule
  • consider me the "trendy coach" so you need to be seen being trained by me

I am not a good fit and it's best that you do not hire me for any of the above reasons.

I work closely with players whose actions show that they are willing to drag their parents to practice and not the other way around.

That's the type of player I want to work with... so volleyball moms and volleyball parents please don't drag players to come see me for private or semi-private training sessions if they really don't want to.

I've trained with two-time Gatorade Player of the Year at Bishop Gorman now Cal Poly starting outside hitter Tommi Stockham on how to hit harder volleyball attacks when she was a junior in high school at Bishop Gorman.

If a player is undecided or still "figuring the sport out" then its best to contact me for training ONLY when that player knows they can't live without volleyball in their life and that they have a specific goal like trying to make their B or JV or varsity team and definitely if they want to play volleyball in college.

If they never reach that level of passion for the game, that's okay. There are plenty of top notch personal volleyball trainers in Vegas that will coach your kid regardless of their level of interest in the sport.

What I Offer As One Of The Best Personal Volleyball Trainers in Las Vegas

As one of the best personal volleyball trainers in Vegas that uses a college prep style of training, I work with players

Most importantly, I work with athletes who already know that they want to play at some level (NIAA, Division I, II or III) in college.

After working over 15 years on promoting and improving Vegas volleyball players I know I'm not for everyone and that's fine!

There are many options for private volleyball coaches in Vegas for beginner players or volleyball athletes who want to follow their friends and just play and compete on a recreational level.

But I'm not one of them.

As I mentioned previously my most decorated and accomplished athletes accepted, embraced and made my volleyball coaching style a priority and

  • scheduled regular training (regularly or intermittently) throughout the year during fall/winter/spring months
  • augmented their training with their school and club practices...
  • found time throughout the week to get it done.

Yes, it sounds like a lot, it sounds like some things will have to be sacrificed. Is this tough...yes.

But guess what? I did it...other champions have done it and so many players do it everyday in other volleyball powerful cities and states throughout the country ...in order to reach their goals.
