I created the zebra shirt to serve as a source of motivation for left side hitters.
I believe that all athletes have a spirit animal.
A beast that you identify with that exhibits character traits that demonstrate actions, feelings or emotions that you can or want to embody yourself.

I called my beast-inspired collection, Volleybragswag and I decided that each animal that I chose would represent one of the basic six volleyball skills in volleyball because of the natural characteristics they exhibit when in their wild animal kingdom.
Let's learn more about the zebra.
For my volleyball playing zebra lovers, did you know that zebras live together in groups like a volleyball team would, only their groups are called 'herds".
The smaller groups that zebras form while in the herd consist of a dominant male called a 'stallion' (team captain) several females (teammates) and their babies which are called 'foals.'
Known for their fighting skills and their ability to be very aggressive when protecting each other from a predator attack, these striped creatures will form a semi-circle (defense) to face an attacker and will strike out viciously regardless of the attacker's size whenever necessary.
With an 'all for one and one for all' mentality, zebras will circle around wounded or injured love ones to protect them from being further attacked by a lion, leopard, hyena or cheetah their mortal enemies. (opposing team)

I created the signature Volleybragswag ball while working with a designer who originally started out by just creating a word logo.
I thought the word logo by itself was unremarkable and boring.
But a word ball...now that's one of the most interesting volleyball t shirt ideas created for a logo.
The ball is our trademarked logo and appears in all of our Volleybragswag volleyball t shirt ideas and designs in one way or another.
